Was ready to leave by 9am, clouds were down in the valley but that disappeared quite quick. Got some nuts and a few Nutella from breakfast to snack on during the day.

Today was a shorter cycle day of only 35km estimated which was actually 37.75km so not too far off, no doubt due to the reasons I've mentioned before. Today I was to head over Fern Pass. The day started with the worst back and forth not sure which way to go, which you can can clearly see in the video.

Later I overshot the turning a bit past the one lake, then there was another place where I thought I had to go up this one trail, which was very much a Mountain Bike route I think as was very rocky, however the green bike sign did say go that way, chatted to some people up that and then decided it wasn't for me and I headed back down to Fernpassstraße.

Went a bit further than needed.

I was coming from the line at top right then went up the one Mountain Bike looking path and backtracked.

I wasn't sure if I was on the right road it was very much a main road so wasn't that great riding on the side of that without a bike lane

Stopped at a few view points to take some pic and then was pleased when I reached the 2 petrol stations at the top where I tried to get some more water, without much luck. Was really nice heading down the other side, I could pick up nice speed, was OK as it was kinda a bit quieter traffic wise so I could take liberties on the road. Was one hectic harpin bend not been round one quite like that before.

My Hotel: Eggebräu Stadthotel

Was pleased when I started seeing signs to Imst and even more so cause they were in the teens of distance to go. Got into my hotel at about 13:30 and was able to check in then again. I'd been quite lucky with hotels in that I'd been able to check in even though it was there a bit earlier than actual published checkin times.
