For the last day of my holiday I had booked a Factory Tour at the Audi Factory in Ingolstadt. Colin had said he would join for the day. It was about an hour train journey north of Munich. We headed there and got there about 9:30am. We did some sightseeing around the town.

(we didn't feel was worth the entrance fee to just look quickly)
We went past the market area of town and god a nice Chinese for lunch. We joined another guy at the tables and started chatting to him. His name was "Sarge" (not sure his real name), he worked on the military base here and was a very interesting guy to chat to. We spent quite a while there even though we had finished out lunch, just talking about random stuff.

Noodles for lunch, with loads of chilli sauce, was nice
Earlier in the day I had randomly I checked out this one store called TEDI, which was very similar to a SA Crazy Store, just with a lot more stuff. I checked some artificial bonsai there, they were pretty cool, didn't get any then but we did when we came back past later on, I got 2 of them, was super pleased with those and they now have a place in my lounge. After lunch we headed back past TEDI to get my bonsai as we were we headed to the bus stop to Audi.

I'll fast forward a bit to keep this in the "non car" post, When we got back to Munich Hauptbahnhof Colin headed home and I headed to Marienplatz as wanted to get a few small things. I first looked around Decathlon and got some nice cycling shorts, which basically were normal shorts with a cycling bit inside, at a good price. Walked along side an anti war in Ukraine protest so were masses of people around. I didn't find what I wanted in Marienplatz in the end.

Me on the webcam now that scaffolding is removed, pity about the sun location
Headed back out to the flat. I still had to pack but that was reasonably easy to do.
The plan was to have a farewell dinner at Colin & Lizelle's flat. Super tasty steak. Wow was it good !!
