Hotel breakfast was pretty good you could get scrambled and other variants of egg so I had a nice scrambled egg with ham and bacon, very tasty. In the photo you can see my "padkos acquisition bag" which was an old Sony audio cassette case that I use to carry my cables and electronics normally which I put in the handle bar box.

Most hotels had super fancy coffee machines like this
My plan for the day was to spend it at the Leogang Bike Park, not riding there but looking around and doing general stuff.

Mountains, fields and cool flowers
Got there at about 9:15am, locked up the bike, and started checking things out. No offence to Colin's bike but I'm sure anything anyone else had there was better and load of other people didn't lock up their bikes but I wasn't going to take that chance. Someone I know joked and said "Find a bike someone has left unlocked while they went into a store or something and get Colin an upgrade", ha ha ha !!!
The videos of the rided there and back aren't that exciting but included them here for completeness sake as they are pretty short to watch.
Looked around the few shops at the bottom, anything you wanted mountain bike related you could get there, from clothing to equipment, anything really. Went into the info center and got a map and some info on a few walk options I was thinking of doing. Accidentally left my one water bottle there but collected it at the end of the day as lady had stashed it away for me. I found out that if you stayed in the area you could get a slightly cheaper lift ticket, so that helped cost wise, was €30 but I got 10% off so paid €27. Bought my ticket for the lift and headed up the Asitzbahn, normal cable car mode activated as in take loads of photos. Didn't stop off at the Mittelstation, I thought I'd do that on the way back down.

Fans blowing nice cool air. Cool Down! We know you are epic! ... apt for the E in METACA22

Asitzbahn heading up, I'd go down and walk round that lake later
Got to the top and watched the MTB guys start on their rides for a while, were loads of different tracks/options they could pick out of.
At the top there were all sorts of animals, sheep, goats, cows, horses and maybe some animals all over the show, they seemed pretty "tame".
I had a pear I had taken from breakfast later in the day wasn't going to eat as got a bit bruised, so have one of the wild horses a nice treat meal.

Named these 2 sheep: Cutlet (white) and Chop (brown, as he wasn't cooperating)
I had decided to do an easy enough walking loop called Leo's Spieleweg. It was a route for families, it was only about 7.65km (for me ... however ... guess what ... navigation mistake of about 1.5km ... but was a big downhill and big up hill ... oh well). I just missed seeing the sign and was at a time when there were no others around to follow. You can see that, I started at the green dot and went downwards but shoulda kept going down not back up/right (on the map that is)

Strava recorded route
Distance: 7.64km
Moving Time: 1:50:14
Pace: 14:25/km
Elevation: 314m
The walk had all sorts of stops where kids could do exercises and solve puzzles and write them on a card to enter for something at the end. I was a kid and did the one thing to get a cool video, yes yes ... was for kids but I can pretend I'm a big kid sometimes right?
At the top there was this other coaster thing called Sommerrodelbahn Asitz which was the The Sound Toboggan Run I think. Was a smaller version of the coaster I did in Imst but was still great fun, was only €3.50 a ride so went twice.
At the top there was an activity called the Flying Fox XXL, I'll paste what their site says:
Are you ready for a next-level adventure? Have you always dreamed of flying weightlessly through the air – in the heart of the Alps? With a length of 1,600 metres, a height of up to 143 metres and potential top speeds of up to 130 km/h, Flying Fox XXL is one of the fastest and longest steel rope slides in the world. Discover new perspectives of the Salzburg mountain landscape and let the thrilling speed take you away from your everyday concerns.
Strap in, take off and enjoy the adventure!
Would have been cool to do but ... lekker expensive.
After having something to eat I headed down to middle station to check out the sights there. Did a nice walk there just short around a lake but got some stunning photos from there, was super chuffed with some of them as you will see.

Lake & Mountains - I think this is my best holiday photo
After a full day at Leogang I headed back to Saalfelden and my hotel and got changed and headed back to the same pizza place and had dinner there again, a different pizza this time which was just as nice.
