Schwangau Sommerfest

Earlier I had seen a poster for the Sommerfest which had some stuff starting that day at 17:00. Hmmmmm. Got back to my hotel and asked them where it was. Was very close so I got my stuff together and headed there.

The Sommerfest was fantastic to see. Was a traditional German band playing and dancers and all sorts with a beer garden and stuff setup. I had bought food for dinner but thought I could easily have that for lunch the next day and have something there which I did. had a really nice curry worst and pommes (chips) for dinner and had a good few beers, I think I had Radlers actually.

I chatted a bit with some people at my table and also wasn't shy at asking people in their traditional dress for photos with them.

Was a fantastic evening. I got back to the hotel at about 21:00 and then had a Radler as a nightcap, I had bought one so didn't want to ride with it so "had to" finish it off. After that I was feeling a bit tipsy so slept well that night.
